It’s been a while since I last updated my blog! Work has been driving me nuts with the crazy hours I work. Also, my training and diet for all of November were horrible. I had my mom, my brother, and my boyfriend visit me here in Arizona for about 2.5 weeks straight 🙂 (since it was my birthday 😉 11/18); then, 3 days after they left, I was in Boston/NY for 11 days! So, basically, all month, I was inconsistent in my training and somewhat unhealthy :(.
Because I was stressed about being unhealthy in addition to the stress from my job, I became very sick for at least half of November. It also transferred on to this month. However, my doc advised me to relieve some stress first. I found that it is necessary to move on from the mistakes, because it can truly be counterproductive. *Remember: stress causes weight gain!
On a whole different note, in September and October, I was doing a training program called “Pipehitter” from fitness model Ashley Horner. The program was intended to improve strength, endurance, and agility. It was awesome! I was very very proud of myself for completing it, as it involved some of the hardest workouts I’ve ever done.
As you all may or may not know, my goal is to live a healthy lifestyle, be strong, have endurance, and be agile–not just “look good” or “look muscular”. With that said, I did the Pipehitter program to learn how to achieve this and be able to transfer information to those with similar goals. I now have a good idea of what it takes and can’t wait to share new workouts here on my blog! 🙂
